Junior Data Science Engineer
CloudFit Software is looking for a Junior Data Science Engineer to join our team! This role will work closely with our engineering and delivery teams to analyze large datasets, develop predictive models, and generate actionable insights. As a Data Science Engineer, you will play a key role in helping our organization make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning new technologies, staying updated with the latest industry trends, and adapting to the evolving needs of the company and its customers.
Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather data from various sources and ensure its quality and integrity.
- Data Analysis: Use statistical methods to analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Model Development: Assist in the development and implementation of predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Reporting: Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data science.
What makes you the perfect fit for this role:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and R, including libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn
- Probability and Statistics: Strong understanding of statistical concepts like hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and Bayesian statistics
- Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka for handling large datasets
- Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Machine Learning: Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Some nice haves (but not required):
- Experience: Previous internship or project experience in data science or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in data science or machine learning.
The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $100,000 + benefits, & perks.?

Final salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s final level and location. Also, the range represents salary only and does not include our total rewards package.
