Hi, I'm stephen.
The owner and founder of BaseHit Marketing. I never set out to start my own business but I've been graciously afforded the opportunity to help other businesses with their seo and marketing needs.

My seo journey
From sales for a hot second, to CMO, to CEO, to COO, to CMO, and back again (ask me later): I've found that I love the competitiveness of SEO and have niched down!

More than marketing
I’m usually spending time with my wife and kids, playing board games, running around outside, or finding a court for some basketball or pickleball (would be baseball but it's hard to find 18 guys!). Our weeks often revolve around church, rest, and intentional time together. At the end of the day, I report to my Lord and Savior and what I do here on this earth is because of Him.

My mission
I see BaseHit as an avenue to serve. To serve my clients with integrity and clarity, to serve my family with time and presence, and ultimately, to serve God with the way I work. As a Christian, my first calling is to raise my kids in the knowledge and instruction of the Lord, which means the way I run this business has to reflect what I believe. Relationships matter more than revenue, and purpose outweighs profit. I also want this business to be a vehicle for giving, whether that’s financial support for our church and nonprofits, or giving my time to serve in places like local food banks and community efforts. In the future, I’d love for every SEO audit or project we complete to directly contribute to a day of giving back. Because good marketing should create more than growth.
