About Us

Since our founding in 1996, VIA has grown from a small school into a leader in autism services with programs focusing on education, adult, and behavioral health services. Evidence-based practices fueled the imagination and determination of our four founding parents and these practices are still the cornerstones of our practices today. We serve 200 students, 100 adults, and 500 families from 28 localities at our centers in Charlottesville, Lexington, Lynchburg, and Roanoke, Virginia. Our programs and services are built around the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and employ professionals in the fields of behavior analysis, special education, speech-language therapy, clinical psychology, and occupational and physical therapies.
