In State of City address, Tweedy and Dolan set out a 'community vision for 2025

In front of a packed house at the Academy Center of the Arts, At-large Councilwoman Mayor Treney Tweedy and Ward I Vice Mayor MaryJane Dolan shared their vision for the future of Lynchburg during the annual State of the City address Monday night.
The speech was part of a celebration featuring dance and choral performances, testimonials from Lynchburg residents about several local programs and achievement awards for those driving change in the community.
“Our Lynchburg story has many chapters and many authors and a vision for 2025,” Tweedy said during her address.
