Watch your old, outdated, legal and personal papers turned into confetti, and help your local library! On Tuesday, October 15, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., the Friends of the Lynchburg Public Library will hold their bi-yearly shredding event at the Lynchburg Public Library’s Main Branch, 2315 Memorial Avenue. Lynchburg, VA – The U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance recently awarded Horizon Behavioral Health $550,000 over three years to support operations at the future Crisis Receiving Center (CRC) in Lynchburg, Virginia, and expand collaboration with the Lynchburg Police Department (LPD).
